My love for the athleisure trend is like no other. To say I’m completely obsessed would be a total understatement. What could possibly be more genius than mixing workout gear with regular clothes to create the most practical, comfortable, and sporty look? Nothing, the answer is nothing. To be honest, I never thought I’d be the type to wear jeans with running shoes (I should probably take this time to apologize to everyone I have shaded in the past for doing this), but I have now seen the light!
Happy Monday everyone! Considering the ice storm we recently had here in Dallas (ok more like an anticlimactic snow flurry), I thought I’d share my winter uniform with you guys. This is the outfit I’ve been wearing non-stop the past few weeks. Why? Because it’s super easy to throw on, it’s comfortable, and most importantly, it’s actually warm. I mean I’m practically wearing a blanket for a cape! I also told you guys on my Instagram that I would reveal which former Bachelor contestant inspired me to purchase these OTK boots. Well, it was none other than the gorgeous…
My favorite everyday casual outfit to wear (besides workout clothes) is a sweater, jeans, booties, and a hat. It’s literally the easiest combo to throw on but fools everyone into thinking that you actually tried to look put together. There are so many trends that I have been loving this winter, but my favorite is definitely all the fuzzy coats, jackets, and sweaters that I’ve been seeing in stores everywhere. It’s becoming so popular though that the pieces I’m dying to have (here and here) are completely sold out!
This oversized chunky knit sweater from Free People is from a couple years back but still gives the same comfy, casual look that a fuzzy jacket would. When I found this at Nordstrom Rack for $20, I remember thinking it was too chunky, but now I’m obsessed with it! It’s funny how the things you aren’t sure about when you first buy them end up becoming the best pieces in your wardrobe…

The Nordstrom Half Yearly Sale has officially started! From now until January 2nd, items are marked down with savings up to 50% off! Clothing, shoes, accessories, and home decor are all part of the sale, so it’s the perfect time to stock up on your fall and winter essentials.
I live for all the ‘after-Christmas sales’, but the Nordstrom Half Yearly Sale easily takes the cake. Year after year they never fail to mark down items from my favorite brands like Free People, Nike, and Topshop. Some of the deals were so good this year I just about fell out of my chair! I mean, Steve Madden booties for 50 bucks?! Unreal.
