Transitioning into Fall

Fall is officially here! The season for chunky knit sweaters, hearty crockpot meals, and pumpkin-flavored everything (Trader Joes is really killin’ it in this department btw) is finally upon us! Out of all the seasons, fall is hands down my absolute favorite. When you live in Texas and the weather is constantly over 100 degrees, Summer can just feel a littleeee too long, so forgive me if I can’t contain my excitement, its just been a long time coming in my book!

Just because fall has made its appearance doesn’t necessarily mean we all of a sudden have to trade in our cut-off shorts and sandals for chunky scarves and riding boots, though. I personally don’t have the funds to buy myself a bunch of new outfits, so that means taking some of my warm weather basics and re-working them into my fall wardrobe.

I first shared this jumpsuit a few weeks ago in my summer clothing haul post, and though it has long sleeves, I loved wearing it this summer because of the semi-sheer, lightweight fabric, and how easy it was to throw on and go.

As the weather starts to cool down, all I have to do is swap out the Panama hat for a scarf, maybe switch out the blush purse for an olive green one, add a duster cardigan, and we’re back in business! I got this jumpsuit at Free People (only $17!) and sadly it’s sold out, but I’ve linked the exact one (and the rest of my outfit details) below because it keeps coming back in stock.

Speaking of links, I have a fun announcement to make! I recently got accepted into the LIKEtoKNOW.it fam! So, what does that mean for you?
